Stray Kids is an 8-member boy group (Bang Chan, Lee Know, Changbin, Hyunjin, Han, Felix, Seungmin, I.N) from JYP Entertainment that debuted on March 25th, 2018 with “Distirct 9.”
One of the most globally successful K-Pop groups that are currently active, Stray Kids are an entirely self-produced idol group. Within Stray Kids, there is a producing team called 3RACHA, composed of members Bangchan, Changbin, and Han. 3RACHA have composed and written most of Stray Kids’ discography.
Stray Kids have experimented with a variety of genres including EDM, hip-hop, dance pop, trap or alternative rock. Their discography often mix strong rap verses and sentimental vocal parts in a single song. From 2020, with the release of “God’s Menu,” Stray Kids began to be known for their signature sound and concept of the “mala sound.” Like mala, a spicy, stimulating but addictive sauce, Stray Kids’ music is widely said to be edgy, intense, and addictive.
Stray Kids’ most notable hits include “God’s Menu,” “Thunderous,” “Maniac,” and “S-Class.”

MEANING OF GROUP NAME
Stray Kids means “wandering kids,” and the group name holds the aspirations of the eight members to break away from the pre-existing mold and find their own path in unison. Stray Kids is often styled as the shortened form, “SKZ” (pronounced su-ki-zu) in official hashtags or merch names.
