TOMORROW X TOGETHER is a 5-member boy group (Yeonjun, Soobin, Beomgyu, Taehyun, Hueningkai) from Bighit Music Entertainment that debuted on March 4th, 2019 with ”CROWN.”
Largely thought to be one of the first “4th gen boy groups,” TOMORROW X TOGETHER has made their distinctive mark on the K-Pop industry with their discography spanning across a variety of genres, including but not limited to synth pop, disco, hiphop, punk, and hybrid rock.
They are known for their fantastical concepts, paying homage to a variety of film/animation/fairy tales such as Harry Potter, Peter Pan, The Little Prince, and more. TOMORROW X TOGETHER (pronounced tomorrow by together) means “coming together under one dream, putting individual differences aside, and building a future (tomorrow).” The 5 members of the group have “come together” under “one dream” for a “brighter tomorrow.” The full group name is quite long (17 characters in English and 9 characters in Korean). Thus, the group name is often styled as TXT, even in official hashtags and video clips. In Korea, fans often call them by the acronym of TOOBATOO (투바투).
