FANDOM NAME MEANING
MY stands for “dearest friend” in KWANGYA, where ae-aespa (digital representations/avatars of aespa) live. As the fans are the most precious friends to aespa, MY became the official fandom name.
OFFICIAL LIGHTSTICK
aespa’s official lightstick has been available for pre-order from 2022-07-06 on SMTOWN & STORE and YES24.
LIGHTSTICK NAME
SBONG (스봉)
On ‘Girls’ COMEBACK LIVE on 2022-07-08, the members of aespa decided on their nickname for the aespa lightstick, calling it “sbong” (pronounced ‘seu-bong’). The name became official afterwards.
LIGHTSTICK DESIGN
- Sbong is mostly white in color, with a transparent orb on top of the lightstick and a transparent emblem that says “aespa” inside. The group name is emblazoned in aespa’s official group color, aurora gradient, in front of the lightstick.
- Official merch also includes custom emblems for each member. Custom emblems must be purchased separately and can be taken out and replaced interchangeably according to the user’s preference.
